Become a Foster Parent :: How to Begin

HOW TO BEGIN / GENERAL INFORMATION

Thank you for your interest in the FamiliesFirst Foster Care and Adoption program. We will work in collaboration with you and your family towards becoming a licensed foster / adoptive parent. Here are ways that you can begin the process:

Call our Foster Parent Service Representatives. Our toll free number is 877-488-5437. Our representatives will provide you with information on the minimum requirements needed to become a foster / adoptive parent and the goals of our foster /adoption program.

Attend a Foster Parent Presentation. Monthly presentations are hosted by the Foster Parent Recruiter who will share with you in detail the requirements and need for foster / adoptive homes. Foster Parent Presentation Schedule PDF

Download a General Information Packet. The information packet includes: Frequently Asked Questions about Foster Care and Adoption and other helpful information. General Information Packet PDF
